Create my profile now!My son has used him extensively for the last 3 years on the large ranch he works on. He spends the winters in the Western Utah Desert and the summers in Northeastern Utah bordering Wyoming. The only reason he is for sale is that my son has started taking on outside horses that need the time and miles and it's not fair to keep such an honest horse turned out without a job.
He has come to stay with us while he is for sale and my 16 year old daughter has been having fun riding him around the neighborhood, in the yard and with friends on the trails.
Stitch is a horse that will unconditionally show up for any job. He minds his own business, peacefully standing tied until you decide you are ready to do something. He gets along with all sorts of other horses, loads and hauls great.
“Stitch” is an AQHA 2013 model and stands 15.1 hands. He is VERY handsome. He does seem to prefer women, probably because they tend to love on him which he loves. He is healthy, sane, sound and ready to make someone very happy for years and years. Stitch is missing his top front teeth, but as you can see it does not affect him at all. He has run in a remuda grazing on various types of pastures with no problems. He actually has a tendency to get a little chunky.
This is that solid ranch gelding everyone is always asking about! He’s seen the ranch and has done the work required of him. He is a classic built, sturdy made, true ranch horse that’s handy enough to go do a days work but still gentle enough to take your kids for a ride around the neighborhood or ride around the yard bareback.
