Traveler has been at our stables for a year now. We rescued him from severe abuse at another horse stables in Tennessee. He had been starved so severely that his winter coat grew into five times the thickness of a normal horse. He had been overworked so severely that he developed arthritis at the age of 7 years. We put several hundred pounds of weight on him to the point that he is now even a bit chubby. We hired an equine chiropractor to give him chiropractic treatments five times. We had a farrier put special padded shoes on him to help with his arthritis. And he has been on special joint supplements like MSM daily.

Traveler does riding lessons and trail rides here at our Wildfire Ranch for beginners, both children and adults. We have put children as young as 8 years old on him and he has never done a single thing wrong. We are selling him because he is having trouble doing the 2-4 hour mountain-climbing trail rides that we do. We also need to purchase a bigger horse that can carry 250 lb riders. Traveler would be perfect for someone who wants to ride once or twice a week on one hour Trail rides. He is also perfect for someone who wants a horse as just a companion pet. He is able to be ridden lightly, 1-1.5 hour flat rides and is bomb-proof with cars, motorcycles. He is beautifully tri-colored brown black and white and stands a healthy 15.2 hands. He has good days and bad days with his arthritis. On his good days his Tennessee running walk is outstanding!
