Meet Kai!

He is a 6 year old Bay 1/2 TWH 1/2 Standardbred gelding standing at 15 hh . He is built like a tank and can easily carry an adult rider regularly through rugged trails.

Kai has been used as a trail horse his entire life – from just day rides by himself or a few friends to large group rides.

He has a smooth 4 beat gait. He will keep a consistent, smooth gait.

Kai is a horse best suited for an experienced rider as he does like to go.

He will move on out to his four beat gait with ease.

Kai will cross the water, logs, go up and down the steep terrain. He may see an occasional booger at times. All this horse needs is more trail time and wet saddle pads to get over this.

We have personally trail-ridden Kai several miles on trails by himself or with a group of friends. No bad habits/vice we have ever seen out of him like rearing up, kicking, bucking, biting, barn weaving, cribbing, or barn/buddy sour.
