Diamond is a handsome, 16.2 hands draft cross with a unique look that will catch your attention. We have owned Diamond since he was a yearling and have been using him as a guides horse for the past few years in Yellowstone experiencing wildlife, crossing water, logs, suspension bridges, and riding alone or in a group. He has also been used as a guest horse for those riders with more experience. He’s ponied and roped colts, wrangled horses, packed, and led pack strings. He’s been rode in the rugged Beartooth Mountains and has completely gained my trust in rough country despite his size. He’s got the makings but needs an intermediate rider. He rides around with a nice one handed neck rein. Loads, ties, stands, shoes, and bathes with no problems. He gets along in the pasture and corral. He’s easy to be around and to like. Sound.
