Gladiador (Glad, as we call him) is curious, intelligent, a very fast learner, playful, and a horse who can do it all. I have taken him on horse camping trips, done over 300+ hours of working equitation with him, established a good foundation in dressage, and regularly ride the challenging and varied trails in our community. Born in Portugal, he just turned 13, has a playful personality, and likes to be the alpha horse in the stable. He is one of only 16,000 Lusitanos in the United States, and stands out wherever he goes.
Glad currently has no known injuries or diseases, apart from a small growth under his tail. He has great hooves (not shod), and a beautiful coat that has changed from dapple grey to white over time. He trailers, cross ties, enjoys the euro-walker, and is used to being out in pasture with other horses. Glad responds well to a strong leader, so probably would be best with a rider that has some experience.
I am hopeful to find Glad a forever home, with someone that loves him as much as we have!
