John is an excellent trail horse & truly fun to ride! He’s a smooth gaited gelding that strolls right along like one should. He has been with the same owner for several years. John has been extensively trail ridden everywhere from the Sandhills to the mountains. Even spent a week at mule days this past year. Has been overnight camped with and highlines or stalls. He doesn’t have a huge motor like a lot of gaited

horses, he will go whatever speed you ask. Can move out or walk along quiet with the quarter horses. Last owner was spending all her riding time on a young colt and this guy just wasn’t getting the attention he deserves, so he’s looking for new trails to travel! We have also been riding John in the arena and he is happy to work inside as well. He has good ground manners, ties, easy to saddle, stands at the mounting block, clips, bathes, & loads easy. He’s got a great personality and loves attention. Also loves rolling in the mud and covering up his beautiful color.
