What is a Miniature horse?
Miniature Horses, also known as Miniature Pony or Mini Horse, are a distinct breed of equine that come in a variety of sizes and shapes. They typically stand between 34-38 inches high at the withers (the highest point on the back) and weigh around 250 pounds. Although they’re usually bred for companionship, show, exhibition and therapy purposes, they can also be used for pleasure riding and driving if properly trained.
