Barney is a cute as a button roan gelding stands 14.2, is 8 years old and a chunky boy! Barney is one the whole family can truly enjoy. Barney has been roped off of outside extensively, doctored, branded, & put in countless miles in every kind of terrain. He’s the kind you can put to a job with no funny business and know you can point him wherever you need to go and he will do anything he is asked. His patience & forgiving nature are impressive. He has lived in both pasture with other horses and in a stall. He is an easy keeper! He enjoys being handled and is easy to tie anywhere, he clips ties and bathes. He rides outside alone or in a large group without any hesitation. He will cross creeks, steep switchbacks, and everything you point him to. Barney rides super pretty and smooth in the arena with all his transitions. He picks up his leads easily in both directions. He has been used as a turn back horse at many cuttings. Barney has had some professional training and has some fancy buttons. Barney will be happy working cows or cruising the pastures or hitting the trails in town he pays no mind to traffic, quads, dogs or any wildlife he encounters. Barney rides low headed and you can literally ride him with one finger on the reins. This boy is fancy and correct in everything he does. Barney is the favorite when it comes to working cows. Barney has been used by riders of all levels with out an issue he is one you can trust to take care of his rider at all times. Barney had lead steered in the arena and would also make a jam up heel or breakaway Horses as he is very cowey .
