Snickers is the total package. This gelding has been my personal horse for the past year, and I cannot believe I have decided to offer him for sale! Snickers comes with my stamp of approval. There aren’t enough words in the dictionary to explain how special Snickers is. This gelding is a true family horse. My mother is a total beginner and doesn’t even know how to put a halter on a horse and we trust Snickers to take care of her. We let her ride Snickers all over downtown Fort Worth on a Saturday night where it’s packed full of people and heavy traffic and Snickers took care of her and went wherever she pointed him. Snickers is the barn favorite by far. Snickers is our go to lesson horse at the ranch because anyone can ride him. If you can hold the reins in your hand, you can ride this gelding. Snickers is the brokest gelding we have seen in a while. His lead departures are perfect, he has a huge stop, and a beautiful turn around on him. You can side pass him over to any gate to open/close it. Snickers has seen more outside miles than most 80-year-old ranchers. No matter what you encounter this gelding he will handle it like a champ. The 8-year-old girl that lives next door to us hauls him to the play days on the weekends where he packs around 3 or more kids through all the days events. This gelding has more patience than any horse we have ever seen. All the kids will walk out to catch Snickers and he will walk right towards them and put his head on the ground so they can put his halter on. They will lead Snickers to the nearest fence and climb on him. They ride Snickers all over the ranch bareback in a halter. Snickers has gone on overnight fishing expeditions where he packed through the mountains. Snickers is as sure footed as they make them. This gelding is such a smooth ride you can spend hours upon hours in the saddle. We would trust Snickers with anyone in any situation!
