Deck stands a little over 15.5 hands. He’s been my go to horse for the past 7 years. He’s been on our ranch since he was weanling. Deck has done every aspect of ranch work. He’s doctored cows outside, gathered bulls, drug many calves to the fire, and sorted pairs as well as rode through blizzards. He’s a true Cowboy’s horse. He has a motor that won’t ever slow down. He is a big country horse for an experienced rider. He’s no bronc but sometimes needs a firm hand. He can be watchy on the ground but overall is a friendly horse and enjoys a good pet. I have some younger horses coming up so it’s time for him to go down the road. I’ve never had him in a roping box but with his big frame and athletic ability and experience roping cattle outside he would make a great head horse prospect.
