Broke to ride English or Western and fantastic on the trails. Storm is also broke to drive and spent the last couple years on my brothers family farm doing every type of farm work including mowing hay, riding to town, and driving in a pair. Storm was also occasionally used as a buggy horse to take the family to church.
Storm has impeccable ground manners. Stands like a true gentleman in the cross ties, wash rack, for the farrier, saddling, harnessing, grooming, and great to load/unload and haul in the trailer. A friendly, fun horse to be around and have in the barn.
He has the movement, talent, and ability of a top dressage horse. He has a canter that anyone can appreciate for its smoothness, balance, and cadence. He easily collects and extends all gaits while maintaining a high quality of movement. Only once in the past 15 years have I had a horse that was this same cross, which makes him truly unique and so special it's hard to put in to words.
He may only be four years old but he has the mind and experience of a much older horse. He has not been in the show ring yet but he has been exposed to enough and is so smart you could enter the show ring with him tomorrow and he would not be phased by anything.
He requires no special maintenance and is up to date on everything. He has a beautiful black coat, that shines and stays dark year round. He is an exceptionally well built horse with correct confirmation. Storm truly does not have any flaws or faults. You can put a complete beginner on him for a trail ride and he will give them a wonderful, pleasant ride like an old pro.
Whether you are wanting to get in to showing, been showing a while and looking to move up, or just want a pleasant, kind, trustworthy mount for home and on the trails he will make anyone a great partner!
