Meet the most versatile horse on earth! Yeti is a 6 year old, 16.2h, Percheron Quarter Horse cross. He has a great personality and disposition. He stands on crossties like a gentleman for baths, grooming, clipping, mane pulling, farrier, and tacking/untacking. He knows how to back off of a trailer and will load like saint everytime. He is also extremely easy to catch in the field. Yeti is turned out with mares, geldings, and a mini cow, with no herd bound tendencies or issues. He doesn’t mind staying in the barn by himself either.

This big handsome boy is ready to be your next dream horse! Yeti has been out fox hunting. He is excellent with hounds darting behind him or under his feet. Yeti will stand at every check and never get strong or rush. He is extremely sure footed and takes his time down steep hills and trappy terrain. Yeti would make someone a wonderful 2nd or 3rd field horse. You could ride him on the buckle all hunt until it’s time to head back to the trailer. You will never have to worry about if you will make it back in one piece! He jumps over logs and small coops, crosses water, and goes up and down banks. He knows what “ho” means and never gives an opinion when asked to do so. When cantering across a big field he will always come back to you without hesitation.

In the ring, Yeti will walk, trot, and canter and jump over small jumps. He is safe enough for a beginner to ride, with 3 comfortable gates. Yeti is more of a push ride, and he is never in a rush to get anywhere fast. He is as safe as they come.

Yeti really enjoys trail riding! He will go out alone for hours by himself, or with company. Yeti will lead or follow with no preference of where he is in the group. If wildlife pops out from the woods, no worries! You’re on a safe mount, I promise he won’t even bat an eye. He’s great with traffic, bikes, dogs, and curious little kids running up to him. He stands quietly to be mounted whether it’s from a log, a mounting block, or a picnic table.

Yeti is an easy keeper with only one scoop of grain a day and front shoes. He sells sound with no vices. He is up to date on worming, vaccines, teeth and feet.
