Annie, as cool as Annie Oakley was in her day! Annie is a barn favorite, excelling in any task with her versatility. She's good-minded, gentle, and well-broke.

Currently being used on a large cattle operation, Annie is a top-notch ranch horse. She is particularly reliable for sorting and checking cattle and is always a first choice! She’s quiet natured and great to prowl through and check cattle on. She rides quiet outside and will cross water, pick through thick brush, handles her feet well in sticky situations and is careful. She's calm, handles various terrains, and proves trustworthy as a trail partner, making her an A-plus candidate whether you wish to trail ride or pick your way through the mountains.

Beyond ranch and trail duties, Annie shines in the arena, having received reined cow-horse training. Ideal for ranch versatility classes and sorting, she exhibits natural cow sense, well-executed maneuvers, and clean lead changes. While not recently in the show pen, she is easily prepped for a return.

Annie's versatility extends to roping, making her a phenomenal breakaway or heel horse prospect. She has been roped on in the pasture and has all the right ingredients to go on with the heel side or on breakaway calves.

Annie is a lovely mare that remains quiet-natured and reliable, demonstrating no "mareish" behavior. She adapts well to mixed herds, stays calm pastured or stalled, and is cooperative for shoeing, bathing, trailering and ground tying.

Whether for quiet trail rides, show pen potential, a trustworthy ranch partner, or roping prospect, Annie exceeds expectations. She's a pleasure to be around and ride and you will be proud to own her.
