"Banana" is affectionately named based on his dappled yellow palomino coat. He has bright white socks and a blaze on his face. We've gotten many compliments on him whenever people see him out and about. He turns heads! Banana is a stout gelding. He is the perfect size and has a lot of bone - he is built to last! LOOK at his papers, too...Big names on both sides. Western Performance Horse DELUXE! Aside from incredible looks and breeding, He's incredibly quiet and safe for anybody to enjoy. He has great manners every single day.
Under saddle, he is well broke and easy to ride. He is great in an arena and outside. Banana has lots of experience on the ranch - long trails, brandings, etc. Because of this, we are confident that Banana will excel in nearly all areas of work, and he is willing to go in any direction with his next owner. (He acts like he is twice his age - he's SO good minded!). Goes through water with ease and will help drag calves, really anything you need him to do, he does. We've roped the hot heels on him and he's been pasture roped on. Trails, Ranch Riding, Roping, etc. He has some big performance horse bloodlines but he is laid back and content to just be a leisurely companion or a weekend warrior. He will work all day and not think twice about it. Not to mention, He RUNS up to us in the pasture, just all in all a great horse to have around.
Banana has great looks and an even greater disposition. The BEST part about him? He can sit and will stay broke and gentle. You do NOT need to ride him everyday, or even every week. He's never acted fresh nor has he needed any refreshers after time off. He has been a ranch favorite, and one of those "go-to" type horses that we truly love. He takes care of his rider but also has bells and whistles to step it up when asked. Banana is in the middle of the herd here. He loads into the trailer with ease, stands tied ALL day, is great to clip and shoe, and the list goes on and on.
