Chip, as we call him is a 5yr old, 14.3 hand, quarter horse gelding that is well broke to ride with the beautiful palomino coat. Chip is a laid-back gelding that I think almost anyone could get along with. He rides English or western. Chip rides in the arena or out on the trails. Chip rides well with a group or goes out by himself with no issues. Chip has a two finger neck rein and side-passes and is very soft in the bridle. Chip responds to leg pressure and is very easy to ride and you can also ride Chip bareback and ride him without a bridle if you so choose. Chip has been on miles of mountain trails, and we have taken him down the main highway into town and he does not mind traffic and all the commotion. Chip is a confident horse and goes wherever you point him. We have used Chip to gather cattle and check fences and also taken him to national parks for a weekend ride. We have also used him to run errands and We have ridden him right into the local hardware store and he takes it all like a champ. We have exposed Chip to flapping tarp bouncing balls and all kinds of obstacles and he just strolls on like its everyday life. Chip trailers well and unloads and loads with no issues. Chip stands to be tacked and mounted and stands be bathed and stands for the farrier. Chip is up to date on farrier, dewormer and dentistry and has a current Coggins. Chip sells 100% sound with no vices and is ready to move into his forever home.
