This Western looking pony is one the definition of one handed broke. He only goes as fast as you ask him to and is always forgiving and kind. Cowboy would fit a beginner on up to a more advanced kiddo! Cowboy has been rode in the feed yard and on the ranch and is absolutely no stranger to sorting, shipping or doctoring cattle. He tracks cattle well and is a great pony for a kiddo to start learning to rope on. Cowboy keeps right up with the big horses and will babysit your children all day every day without a fuss. He’s a seasoned veteran that I guarantee you can’t show anything new to! He has been rode in the local play days by our 6 and 8 year old to do the goat tying, barrel racing and rescue races.

Cowboy is always ???????????????? to catch, stands like a gentleman for the kids to brush, bathe and saddle. He likes attention and appreciates the littles, he never offers to take advantage of a green or timid rider! Cowboy has a heart of gold!

Cowboy will cross water, bridges, rocky terrain, logs, you name it. He’s incredibly safe and sure footed in the rough country and honestly is probably half billy goat the way he climbs down the canyons! Cowboy will walk trot and lope easily but has more whoa than go and would rather slow on down if given the opportunity.

This old school pony is safe around all the dogs, machinery, and handles chaos like a seasoned veteran. We feel with his training and eagerness to please he woukd excellent in just about anyones program and will suit a beginner child on up to an experienced child. We have hauled Cowboy to the local shows and rodeos as well for the kids to have something to do and enjoy. The Lu ride him all over the grounds with their friends and he never misses a beat!
