Gentleman got his name because he is just that a true gentleman. He is been tried, true and proven with long list to his resume and people who will tell you how good he is. He is 15.1 hands tall, well made with good bone structure and good solid feet. Gentleman lives up to his pedigree being top quality sired by Once in a Blu Boon (10million dollar sire, NCHA & NRCHA leading sire) out of a daughter of Dual Jazz (850k offspring earnings) Gentleman is our go-to horse for everything from babysitting the kids, to taking care of the beginner riders, to roping wild cattle, sorting pairs out in the pastures. Gentleman is as trustworthy and handy as you could ever want one to be. You can let him set and pull him out when you need him and he is the same horse every time. Gentleman is solid and seasoned in all aspects of ranch work from spring calving, branding, checking and doctoring cattle on mountain pastures, fall gathering, sorting and shipping. He is handy, watches a cow, knows how to handle a rope and will stay with a cow when you are sorting or roping. Gentleman has been taken to town, used for grand entires, carried flags, he is traffic safe. Noise, commotion and crowds don’t bother him. He has been started mounted shooting and isn't bothered by gunfire. Our 9yr old has rode him all over the mountain, gentleman takes care of him and is very tolerant of all of his silly kids stuff playing around while moving cattle and is also gentle and kind enough to babysit our 2yr old. Gentleman gets along well in a herd, is very easy to catch out on a pasture and is also happy in a box stall. No vices or bad habits. He goes through the trail course with ease and no hassle. Out on the trail he is happy in any position of the group. He will ride away from the group and back to the group without a fuss. He is also happy to ride out alone and has seen many miles riding by himself. Gentleman is Riata Buckle and Royal Crown Roping eligible. Gentleman loads in and backs out of the trailer, hauls well. He stands well for the farrier and is good for the vet. He is up to date on worming, vaccinations and farrier. He comes with complete dental, farrier, vet records and health exam.
