Grit is a 12 year old, bay, Quarter Horse gelding. He stands 15.2 hands tall and weighs 1,400 lbs. He is built the way a Quarter Horse should be. He is super stocky and stout! Grit has that cowboy western look to him and looks like he just stepped out of an old western movie! He is the type of horse we put the beginner guest or friend on that has never ridden but wants to go out and go on a trail ride with us. He is super broke and safe, quiet, and gentle as they come. I could go on and on about how much i like Grit. If you like one that will have a super nice soft neck rein, good stop and back up and smooth lope you will love Grit. Grit has the year he was born branded on his butt so we know exactly how old he is. Grit has done all types of ranch work and was raised on a large cattle operation. He has pasture roped and drug calves to the branding fire to going out in the rough country and searching for lost calves. He is a finished, been there, done that ranch horse. The last few years he has been used mainly as a family trail horse. He is great on the trails and very easy to ride. Not complicated at all.
