Hazel is a barn favorite and the first one grabbed to get anything done! This shapey buckskin mare is the definition of Easy, an old soul mare that is Point & Go!

Hazel has been used for everything! From kid/lesson horse to being used at rodeos! She’s seen it all, you can rope both ends on her, Breakaway rope, Run barrels/poles, Day work, Ranch Rodeo, Trails, Parades & even been rode English.

She walks in the box with ease, patient, scores like a rock, breaks smooth. She truly is a dream horse! She handles a longs day of work/roping with ease. She’s the same horse from the first steer ran to the last! She will slow down for a lower numbered roper/kid or will speed up for a higher numbered roper on either end! She’s a nice breakaway horse, breaks to the pin and stops hard, perfect all the way from Jr high rodeos to amateurs!

Hazel is so light you can ride her in something as simple as a war bridle even in the busy Fort Worth stockyards. She has all the buttons, Lopes like a rocking chair, is soft in the bridle, side passes, moves off of leg pressure, Rides out on a nice loose rein, has a big stop & is gentle/safe for anybody. The kid in the videos is 11 years old and absolutely loves her!

If roping/rodeo isn’t your thing she is an excellent trail horse who is quiet and easy to ride. She will cross bridges, water, logs and rough terrain without a second thought. She is safe, sound and is the family horse everyone needs. She bathes, clips, ties, easy to load and is good for the farrier. She stalls well and does not crib, weave, pace, or kick. She stands quietly to be saddled, bridled, and mounted.
