Homer is a nice grade 9 year old gelding. He has spend most of his days on the trails and around the ranch. He has seen lots of miles out on the trails in various terrain. He is steady when it comes to knowing where to place his. He crosses water, logs, tunnels and bridges with ease. Homer has a nice one hand neck rein, stop and back up. He picks up his leads correctly and is an easy mover. We have used Homer to gather the cows and bring them home. He is sacked out and has been exposed to tarps, balls, ATVs etc… Homer is more whoa than go but will get a job done when asked. He is easy going and slows back down after doing a job. He is a comfortable ride to put the kids on with you and head up trail. Homer would be an asset to anyones operation. Homer stands for the farrier, loads and hauls with ease.
