Mercury is a kind and gentle horse. He is trained to ride English or western. You can take him out on trails with kids, and he is the best. It doesn't matter to him if he's alone or riding in a group. Very solid and not spooky. He is also fine out on the rode and in traffic. He has been over obstacles of all sorts, and is very brave. Our 9 year old daughter has trail ridden him, and also can take him walk, trot and canter in the arena. He is started in dressage, and would be ready to show training or first level. He leg yields and had been introduced to shoulder-in. If you are looking for a horse to develop that special bond with, Mercury is it! He also rides bridless. He will not cheat on you when you take off the bridle, and you can sidepass him and go over obstacles bridless. He is currently wearing shoes due to being ridden on pavement some, but would be okay to transition to barefoot. He is fine out in the field with other horses. He shoes, clips and bathes without a problem. He loads on a step up or ramp trailer, and hauls without a fuss. He is 100% sound with no vices. This guy truly is a once in a lifetime horse.
