Reba is absolutely a ranch favorite. Everyone we hand Reba to loves her. She is so safe, gentle, kind and handy too. She has had more miles and experience that a lot of horses. Reba is a true babysitter, we trust her completely to take care of both our kids, anyone can ride her from young to old, beginner to advance and everyone will enjoy her. If you are looking for your first horse or you last horse or anywhere in-between Reba will take care of you. She has done all aspects of ranch work from calving, to branding, checking cattle on summer pastures on the mountain to fall gathering and sorting. She is seasoned at it all. You can let her set and ride her when ever you need her. She is very easy to catch. We have had her out on a 100 ace pasture, catch her with a piece of rope around her neck, swing on her bareback and wrangle in all the horse horses bareback and bridle-less. She never gets hot, hyper or buddy sour. This summer our God-daughter stared her on barrels, she was started correctly, no gate issues and does not get hot. She is running consistently in the 2D and she has won money in the 1D so she has lots of potential to make a top notch barrel horse with a good mind. She was also lightly started on break away and taken to break away clinics. Reba has a reining training so she has all the buttons and handle that you would want to make her handy for every job. She rides to the level of rider and always takes care of her rider. Our 9yr old has rode her all over the mountain, playing around, gathering cattle, he has helped move cattle up the mountain riding her backwards and eating his lunch. Reba is not mare-ish, gets along well in a mixed herd. She is happy in a box stall, no vices or bad habits. Reba has been taken to town, traffic safe, been barrel raced and break away on at the Cody Nite Rodeo. Noise, crowds and commotion doesn’t bother her. Reba has done mounted shooting, she is ready to haul to the competition. She would be good for a beginner shooter but has the handle and speed to make upper level shooter a top horse to win on. Reba is completely happy to go for a leisurely trial ride, or she could be a top notch performance horse, she is so versatile and gentle with an excellent mind. Reba would also make a top brood mare with her conformation, disposition and pedigree. She is sired by Colonels Smart Spook ($44,857 NRHA) X Smart Spook ($7 million dollar sire, NRHA Hall of Fame) our of Whiz Starbright ($26,332 NRHA) X Topsail Whiz (13 million dollar sire, AQHA Hall of Fame). Reba has her NRHA license. Reba is up to date on worming, vaccinations and farrier. She comes with complete dental, farrier, vet records and health exam. Additional vet work welcome at your expense.
