Hard to find one with this much shape, pedigree and ride that is dappled gray! This guy is easy on the eyes! Stoney, as we affectionately call him is very versatile and always a pleasure to ride. He stands 14.2 hands and is thick. Stoney has a vast resume, from ranch work to trail rides, he has done a little bit of everything. He is quiet enough to suit a green rider and handy enough to do a job on. Stoney has a solid pedigree going back to reining and cow horse legends Rooster (Gallo Del Ciello) and Topsail Whiz. Stoney’s sire SR Roosters Kid has NRHA and NRCHA earnings of over LTE: $51,xxx. His pedigree is a testament to his mind and trainability; he is always willing. Stoney has a nice handle: he neck reins, pivots, side passes, two tracks and counter bends, he is very soft and supple. He will go anywhere you point him. Stoney has a great demeanor and is always easy to catch in the pasture. He also has impeccable ground manners and is easy to haul to new places where he always settles in with ease. He has been used to gather and doctor cattle, he is also started roping the dummy. Stoney has been trail ridden extensively and is accustomed to unfamiliar terrain and situations. He is a pleasure to ride in and out of the arena, it does not matter if you are in a big group or on your own. Stoney always makes his rider feel secure no matter how hectic the situation. Stoney can go for long periods without being rode and he always stays the same. He is uncomplicated and easy to have around in all aspects.
