Tuffy, as we call him, checks all the boxes!!

Tuffy is a 5-year-old, registered AQHA gelding that stands the perfect height of 14.2 hands and is stout and solid enough to carry any size rider. Needless to say he carries America's favorite color with a pretty strip on his face. Tuffy is very well broke to ride and he’s absolutely uncomplicated to ride. Tuffy was owned by my friend since he was a weanling, so I know where he was most of all of his life and he was always in good hands. Tuffy is an absolute sweetheart and is one of the barn favorites around here. Tuffy neck reins, side passes and has a good stop and back up.

Tuffy has been on the farm all his life, so he knows what a day's work is like. He has been used to push tons and tons of cattle from pasture to pasture and run any kinds of errands needed on the farm.

If you are in need of a babysitter for your kids, I think Tuffy could do the job. Tuffy is laid back, making him the perfect horse for beginner's or old folks that need a dependable mount. Tuffy also rides bridleless and bareback if you so choose. Tuffy does not need to be ridden daily to stay broke; it doesn’t matter if you ride him daily or once every couple months, Tuffy comes out and rides the same. Tuffy rides good in the arena or outside and rides great by himself or in a group. Tuffy rides English or western and picks up his correct lead every time. Tuffy has been exposed to bouncy balls, tarps, obstacles, dogs and all kinds of wildlife and he doesn't mind any of it. Tuffy goes wherever you point him with no hesitation. We have also taken Tuffy down the main highway and is traffic safe. Tuffy is gentle enough for my 2-year-old son to brush him and lead him around the barnyard. Tuffy stands to be tacked, mounted, bathed, and also trailers well. Tuffy is up to date with farrier, dewormer and had his teeth done 9.14.23!! Tuffy sells sound with no vices.
