Velvet is broke to death! Turns around and rides better than most good horses. She has been to town to team rope and mule shows, seen all the ranch chores, and has been trail ridden from the desert of Arizona to the mountains of Idaho. Velvet rides one handed in any bridle, she will bridle up and take both leads, has a good stop, and will spin both ways. Velvet’s will side pass and is very soft in the sides and her face. Velvet is super fun to brand cattle on or take to the arena and rope. She is a good heading mule. She stands great in the box will run to them good and handles cattle great. If speed isn’t your thing Velvet is plum happy going for strolls out on the trail and is gentle and safe. Our son has ridden a lot and gets along great. Velvet would be great to take to Bishop and compete on; she is great in any cow event and the rein work.
