We proudly introduce to you, Shorty, an awesome gaited pony! Shorty is a 13 yr old gaited pony. He is a beautiful black roan and white spotted pony with a great disposition! He stands 13hh barefoot. Shorty is a been there done that kind of guy! He has been used in 4-H, fun shows, and trail riding! Shorty has great ground manners and is a blast to ride. He stands tied, stands to tack up, mount and dismount, loads and unloads from the trailer well, and is good for the farrier. Shorty is barefoot and has good feet, he has been routinely trimmed every 6-8 weeks. Shorty is confident on the trail and will easily cross creeks, logs, and carefully maneuver through challenging terrain. He leads with confidence but is just as happy to follow along! Shorty is friendly and loves attention! He likes apples and being groomed! Shorty is very smart and can tell the difference in his rider, when myself or another adult rides him he is more alert and ready to ride. When I have had children on him, he is patient and safe with them. Not only is Shorty just an awesome pony, he is also gaited! Shorty has a super smooth and flashy saddle gait that is comfortable to ride all day. Shorty has a good disposition, a great gait, and knows his business, but is also beautiful! Shorty has perfect markings and is built like a little tank! He is sturdy and solid. He is also an easy keeper! We have had a blast with Shorty, from trail riding, carrying the flag, to piling 3 kids on him at once, he’s taken it all in stride! We haven’t found anything that really bothers him, not spooky at all! Shorty is UTD on coggins, wellness exam, deworming, and hoofcare!
